In the machining process, common methods of pipe cutting are manual cutting, semi-automatic cutting and intersecting wire cutting. Manual cutting has some shortcomings of poor quality, large dimension error, big material waste, heavy workload of subsequent processing, and low production efficiency. Although other semi-automatic cutting machines reduce labour intensity of workers, their functions are simple and they are only suitable for cutting parts with more regular shapes.

To solve these problems, our company purchased an advanced CNC intersecting wire cutting machine with effective length of 10M and pipe cutting diameter of 57-800mm. It is equipped with MAX200pro plasma power supply, control system F6600, effective cutting thickness can reach 30mm. With environmental protection dust removal device, there is no smoke at the time of cutting, in line with technical specifications of workshop 5S production.
